Windows 11 Explorer crashes on right mouse click on file or folder in network drive

Since upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 I was experiencing frequent crashes of Windows Explorer when performing a right mouse click on files or folders located in a network drive location.

How-I-fixed-it:

I did two thing which finally fixed it for me.

1. Clearing explorer cache (Source: Windows 11 explorer crash - Microsoft Community)

Open Run Command ( Press Windows key + R)

-Copy, paste then click ok the file path below:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations

Delete everything inside the AutomaticDestinations folder

-Restart PC and check

2.  Disabling Context Menu entries (Source:  (Described here: Windows 11 explorer crash - Microsoft Community)

- Download ShellExView : https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html

- Run it

- Sort by type and go to items "context menu"

- Then disable them one by one an restart "windows explorer" (task manager) each time : check. If ok, the last one is the guilty one.

Microsoft Edge Chromium Error Crash Error Code STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_HASH

I updated my Edge Browser to Edge Chromium Version 81.0.416.68. Starting the browser it did not show any websites, the tab only showed "Error Code STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_HASH.

How-I-fixed-it:
Found out, that Symantec Endpoint Protection caused the Renderer to throw this error (had a similar issue with Goolge Chrome before).

I created a Registry Key as described here to disable the RendererCodeIntegrityEnabled:

unlock, backup and remote control a broken screen Lumia 950 Windows Phone from a touchscreen PC?

My Microsoft Lumia 950 running windows 10 mobile  had a broken screen which had parts of the screen not functioning at all.  No chance to enter my PIN code to unlock the screen. Even connecting it to my windows PC did not show the data as long as the screen is locked.

How-I-fixed-it:

You need two things to get access to your data again:
- A touchscreen computer running Windows 8 / 10 (Mouse/Keyboard does not work)
- The "Project My Screen App for Windows Phone" from Microsoft which can be downloaded here:

Install and start the app on your tablet. Connect your phone via USB to the computer and tap on the screen. The computer will show your mobile device screen. If your computer is a touchscreen you can interact with the phone screen on the desktop/tablet as you would do with your finger on the phone itself.
Enter your PIN code and... there you go.

Adobe Acrobat Reader crash, where are the AutoSave files?

My Adobe Reader DC recently crashed with lots of comments added in the PDF. After restart and confirming to recover the last file, it just said "Error reading file" and the changes seem to be gone completely now.

I wish i would have saved away the AutoSave directory before restarting.
Where does Adobe Acrobat Reader save/store the temporary files of the "Select Automatically Save Document Changes To Temporary File Every xx Minutes"?

Win XP : C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\1X.0\AutoSave
Win 7/8/10:  C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\[Version]\AutoSave

The files are just named  xx.tmp

Outlook 2013 crashes on startup every time after calendar publishing to WebDAV. Safe Mode does also not work. Profile corrupt after calendar publishing

I published my calendar to a WebDAV folder from Outlook 2013. After restarting Outlook, it crashes at Startup every time. Tried Outlook /safe, but that did also not work.
Found out, that somehow my Outlook Profile seemed to be corrupt.

How-I-fixed-it:
I saved away my .pst-folder. (To be on the safe side)
Then I created a new E-Mail Profile and was able to start Outlook again without problems. Calendar, Tasks and Contacts were restored from my Outlook.com account. I still try to figure out, why this happens. There are other threads on the net that report similar Problems with calendar issues causing Outlook to Crash.

Windows 8 Crash / BlueScreen / BSOD using Internet Connection Sharing /Tethering with Nokia Lumia 920 WP8 smartphone

Today i used the Internet sharing function on my Nokia Lumia 920 WP8 phone to browse the web from my Windows 8 laptop computer (Dell M1330, Windows 8 64bit).
A few seconds after opening the Internet Explorer 10, my PC showed the Blue Screen Error BSOD  (The error is Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal, caused by netwlv64.sys) and rebooted. This was repeatable, rebooting both devices did not help.

I'm just citing this solution here:

Reboot, and before you connect to the Lumia 920 WLAN (or before it crashes), view the properties of the wireless connection. Click Advanced, and enable Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) for the connection. That worked for me and i did not see the BSOD again.
